Good afternoon.
One of the last acts in Parliament Keir Starmer performed as Prime Minister before recess took place was to vote down Amendment 19 of the Public Office (Accountability) Bill which is at Report Stage along with 329 other Labour MPs. The 2nd reading of which will be resuming on 1 September 2026 under a new Cabinet administration led by a new Prime Minister.
