Myself and Noah Smith may agree that the rental price of new condos have limited effects on gentrified outcomes but we should also see eye-to-eye on the agglomeration effects and proximity of luxury retail outlets (and by extension, of large tier one investment banks) especially when these activities are situated nearby the vicinity of tourist ‘hotspots’.
